Salesforce.com enters global software top 10

Gartner, Inc. reports that Salesforce.com, host of XCD’s cloud HR software, achieved almost $4Bn in revenue over the last year to climb into the top 10 of the worldwide enterprise software market, and the top 5 companies globally by overall application revenue.Salesforce.com’s growth rate of 33% was more than double the 14.1% of the second fastest growing company in the top 10, VMWare, the only other company to record double digit growth.
