Podcast – Is your HR team GDPR ready?

On 7th September, we in collaboration with our compliance partner Fifth Step ran a webinar focussed on ensuring your HR data is GDPR compliant.

Many of our customers are aware of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) which gives individuals more say over what organisations can do with their personal data. However, we appreciate that it’s tricky understanding the steps you need to take to ensure your data is GDPR compliant.

HR departments hold the largest amount of personal and sensitive data on employees, contractors, applicants and leavers. Do you have a named data protection officer? Do you know what you need to do?

Early preparation is key and time is slowly running out as the deadline of the 25th May 2018, GDPR compliance approaches and so we’d like to invite you re-watch our tailored seminar to:

  • Gain a clear overview of the GDPR and its consequences
  • Understand the specifics as they apply to HR and the storing of personal data
  • The steps you need to take to start preparing your business for GDPR compliance

GDPR is great news for individuals but presents complex issues to organisations in terms of labour and resource. However, our aim is to give you a process to follow and ensure you use the time between now and May of next year wisely.

If you’d like further assistance when it comes to GDPR and compliance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
